Well, excuse me while I jump up and down.

We’ve just had confirmation that Sue and I will be travelling to China to run a three day Appreciative Inquiry workshop for staff at a school in Qingdao. I’ll be helping out by running the Tai Chi segment for the workshop.

It’ll be a short trip, six days in total, so there won’t be time for any sight seeing unfortunately. We meet with the school leadership team the day before the workshop starts and then it’s full on from there until our flight home.

This will be our third trip overseas since we started our business. Our two previous trips were:

  • 2009 World Appreciative Inquiry Conference in Kathmandu, Nepal – we delivered our AQ/KQ workshop for over 40 participants
  • 2012 World Appreciative Inquiry Conference in Ghent, Belgium. Sue helped Matt Moehle facilitate a workshop on inter-generational conversations and I helped with early morning Tai Chi sessions and photography.

We’re busy working out an agenda for the workshop in Qingdao and I’ll be  checking out Qingdao on the web to see if I can find some local parks to practice my Tai Chi. And that’s something I always wanted to do – practice Tai Chi in China.

Now I’m off to practice my Tai Chi – as soon as I stop jumping up and down :)
